DESIGN AND USER NEEDS | HFC

This class was interesting and introduced me to human factors as they affect the design of interior environments. The presentation deck below is my midterm assignment. We were to choose a restaurant or storefront and draft a complete layout featuring the functionality of the space, choose a color scheme, lighting features, materials, and artwork. 

I chose a chic modern-style restaurant that would be more family-friendly during the day, but then party and entertainment at night/weekends. It features a small stage with mood lighting, a full bar, extendable tables/booths, party rooms that can be combined and/or separated using accordion-style walls. 

This was my first time putting together a design concept and a presentation deck. I was proud of what I came up with and often referenced this deck for inspiration.
