These flowers are hand-sketched and then enhanced with texture and shading using colored pencils, which allow for seamless color blending, highlights, and lowlights. 

As someone who grew up with my grandparents, I have fond memories of my grandmother's love for flowers. She had a beautiful garden that spanned the entire front, side, and back yard. During springtime and summer, people would slow down or even stop to admire the blooming flowers. I didn't appreciate the beauty of flowers until my grandmother passed away in 2005. Since then, I've found love and joy in creating flower art, which reminds me of her. I enjoy drawing, framing, and gifting flowers to loved ones because they bring happiness to people regardless of their current state of mind.
